Each shade you reveal holds millennia of stories, faithfully replicated on our premium yarns using modern, stable dyes and dyeing techniques. Prepare to fall in love with the rich earth tones: from the deep green of Verona Earth to the warm and enveloping browns of Siena Earth and Umber, with their vibrant "burnt" variations igniting intense reds. You'll discover the radiance of yellow and red Ochres, found across the globe, and the and the profound depth of grays and blacks, born from the most unexpected organic substances: from wood charcoal that warmed our ancestors, to Ivory/Bone Blacks, and from cuttlefish ink telling marine tales (Sepia).
But "The Painter's Palette" is not just about earth and history. A touch of vibrancy and splendour is added by the oldest and most iconic mineral pigments: the fiery red of Cinnabar/Vermilion, the vibrant green of Malachite, the deep blue of Azurite, and the legendary ultramarine blue of Lapis Lazuli, made famous by the ancient Egyptians. These brilliant reds, greens, and blues are the jewels of our palette, designed to balance and enhance the earthy tones, creating surprising chromatic harmonies.

Our fascinating journey through colour ideally concludes around 1724 with Prussian Blue: a rich, dark blue, often considered the first of the modern pigments. Its accidental discovery marked an epochal turning point, ushering in the modern era of pigments. This new phase led to the abandonment of some older shades, often costly, unstable, or toxic, opening the door to modern, bright, and vibrant colours that revolutionized art and our very perception of colour.

The Complete Set - Daily surprises: This contains the full 24-colour palette. Perfect for those who love the daily thrill and collecting every unique shade. Ideal for scrappy projects and striped socks.
- Options: Available in Mini Skeins (20g, 480g total) or Micro Skeins (10g, 240g total), across multiple bases.
2. THE WEEKLY WONDER (The Curated Selection)
The Selection - 4 Weekly Surprises: This contains 12 carefully curated colours from the same collection, designed for those working on larger knitted projects (shawls, garments). These are divided into 4 separately packaged weekly sets for a continued surprise experience.

- Details: It features delicate speckles of red, green, blue, orange, and black, picking up all the vibrant tones of the Advent Calendar.

📦 Important Logistics & Shipping Details
- Artisan Quality: All colours are Semisolid and Tonal, ensuring a professional finish with maximum depth in your knitwear. Hand-Dyed in Italy.
- Shipping: All orders will ship worldwide during November 2025 to ensure arrival before December 1st.
- Customs and Duties: I ship globally. For USA and any other NON-EU countries: I currently cannot collect tariffs in advance, so you will be charged by the carrier prior to delivery. You can also buy from my Etsy shop, which collects taxes for some countries (including the UK, for imports up to 135£,around 155€) so you pay taxes upfront and avoid surprises.
