For years, my partner had his "comfort hat." It was actually a Rikke Hat that I had originally knitted for myself, but he quickly "stole" it, finding it the only remedy capable of soothing his headaches or keeping him warm on the coldest nights.
When we accidentally lost it during a trip, I knew I had to create something new — something even softer, even more delicate. I wanted a "fibre cloud" that could be worn for hours (or even days!) without that annoying "forehead itch" feeling that classic ribbed edges often give.
That's how the Lounge Hat was born.
It's seamless, smooth, and made with my Baby Alpaca + Merino DK yarn. Last week, while struggling with a bad headache myself, this hat was my best friend. I wore it for two days straight, and it felt like a constant, gentle hug.

But I must warn you: working with mini-skeins is absolutely addictive! Once you start seeing the colours blend into each other, it's really hard to put your needles down.
