About SnailYarn Shipping

SnailYarn is a one-person micro business. I'm committed to finding the best balance between shipping cost and service quality for my customers worldwide. Every shipping choice I make is designed to get your beautiful hand-dyed yarn to you safely and affordably.


How I Ship

I ship all orders within 3 to 5 working days. Because it's just me, please allow this timeframe. For pre-orders, add another 2–4 weeks for dyeing before I ship.

All shipments are tracked, so you can follow your parcel's journey. If anything goes wrong, I can investigate with the carrier and help sort it out.


SHIPPING RATES

ITALY

  • €0–99 EUR order value: Standard shipping or pickup at Poste/InPost Locker — €4.00
  • €100.00+ EUR order value: Standard shipping or pickup at Poste/InPost Locker — FREE

(If you choose pickup, I'll contact you to arrange your preferred pickup point.)


EUROPE

EU Countries

  • Standard (BRT): €10.00 — 5–7 days
  • Express (UPS): €15.00 — 2–3 days

Non-EU Countries

  • Standard (Poste Italiane): €15.00 — 7–14 days
  • Express (UPS or Fedex): €20.00 — 2–3 days

For countries outside the EU, express couriers apply additional processing fees on top of customs duties.


REST OF THE WORLD (Standard Tracked – Poste Italiane)

I ship all parcels via Poste Italiane with full tracking. Prices vary by destination region:

ESTIMATED DELIVERY TIMES (from shipping date)

  • Italy: 2–5 days
  • Europe: 5–15 days
  • Rest of the World: 10–25 days

International shipping can sometimes take longer, especially outside the EU. Customs clearance might add extra time.


IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Customs & Duties

  • EU Customers: No additional customs fees.
  • Non-EU Customers: You may be responsible for any customs fees or duties required by your country. These are determined by your local customs authority, not by me or the carrier.

Lost Parcels

Lost parcels are very rare. If that unfortunate situation happens, please get in touch with me at info@snailyarn.com so we can figure out what we can do together.
