Yarn Duo: Misty Morning & Frosted Berry (Vogue Edition)

A study in contrast.

I created the Yarn Duo series to explore the interaction between two skeins made for each other. I personally curate each set to offer the perfect chromatic and technical contrast, ideal for any project where two colors play together.

This special release is my Vogue Edition: I originally created it for a Vogue Knitting digital event, and I am so happy to finally bring it back to the shop as part of my permanent Duo collection. I paired a calm tonal with delicate speckles with a vibrant, energetic variegated.

My Colorways:

• Misty Morning: A sophisticated tonal grey with tiny, subtle speckles. It provides a calm, deep background with subtle movements of light.

• Frosted Berry: A classic variegated rich in blue, berry, and deep rose tones. It creates a vibrant, dancing texture on your needles.

Knitting Ideas: I designed my Yarn Duos for high-contrast projects like stripes, brioche, or mosaic knitting, where the definition between the two shades is key.

A personal suggestion: This set is an excellent choice for my upcoming Lounge Hat (the first pattern of my Lounge Collection), especially if you love a rhythmic and bold striped look. The DK weight provides a wonderful stitch definition and a plump, squishy fabric.

• Quantity: 2 skeins of 50g each (100g total).

• Base: DK Sock (75% Superwash Merino / 25% Nylon).

• Meterage: approx. 225m/100g (112m per 50g skein).

• Suggested Needles: 3.5mm - 4.5mm.
