IL RITO DEL MATTINO,
VAPORE CHE SALE,
CALORE TRA LE MANI.
(The morning ritual, rising steam, warmth between the hands)
Caffellatte 2.0 is a comforting, neutral gradient that celebrates the soft tones of milk and coffee.
THE STORY BEHIND 2.0
This set is a refined, new evolution of one of my most beloved colors. The original Caffellatte was the shade I used for my own "Morning Coffee Socks" featured in the book 52 Weeks of Socks (Volume 1) by Laine Publishing.
Following a change in the professional pigments I use in my studio, I’ve been on a journey to recreate that exact magic. While still a work in progress, this Caffellatte 2.0 is the beautiful result of that research: it captures the same cozy, neutral spirit of the original, but with a cleaner, slightly warmer, and more luminous depth. It is a journey that starts with the rich, creamy depth of a latte and fades into a delicate, airy froth.
COLOR & CURRENT DYE BATH
In this specific dye bath, the hue is a balanced, creamy beige with soft, toasted undertones. It is the ultimate neutral: sophisticated, timeless, and designed specifically to replicate the balanced depth needed for patterns like the Morning Coffee Socks, highlighting complex stitch patterns, textures, or cables without jarring jumps in color.
STOCK & SHIPPING TIMES:
- In Stock: Ready to ship in 1-3 business days.
- Dyed to Order: This set is made specially for you. Please allow 2-3 weeks for your set to be crafted and fully dried before shipping.
Note on Batches: Hand-dyed yarn varies slightly between baths. If you are planning a large project, I recommend ordering a Dyed to Order set to ensure all skeins are dyed in the same harmonious bath.

THE GRADIENT COLLECTION: MY METHOD
This collection was born from a desire to create garments that last—with colors inspired by nature that never go out of style—while also breaking the monotony of a single solid color.
THE PROCESS:
-
Same recipe, different intensities: I use the same pigment blend in different dilutions for all 5 skeins; the result is a harmonious transition.
-
Small batches: Every set is hand-dyed in my studio; slight variations between batches guarantee your project is one of a kind.
-
Carefully designed transitions: These gradients are designed for an effortless continuous fade, but they work equally well when used individually to create subtle contrasts within a larger garment.
🎨 STYLING & PAIRING SUGGESTIONS
The Natural Pairing: Caffellatte 2.0 is the perfect "anchor" color. It pairs beautifully with cream, deep charcoal, natural wood tones, or warm gray.
Thematic Pairings (Snail Mix):
-
Breakfast in the Woods (with Eucalipto): The warmth of the beige meets the cool sage green for a calming, botanical atmosphere.
-
Autumn Morning (with Senape): The golden mustard brings out the "toasted" notes of Caffellatte, creating a vibrant and cozy look.
- Berry Mochi (with Amarena or Rosa Antico): A sweet, sophisticated combination where the neutral base lets the dusty pinks and reds pop without losing their elegance.
