For this Spring/Summer season I decided to bring back some of my old semisolid colorways in some new yarn blends that will work amazing for all your warm weather light knits: tees, tops, shawls, light cardigans.
The colors are presented in 3 different yarn bases all with similar characteristics and texture so they can all be combined together. Stripes, marls, color blocks, let your creativity flow!
Yarn: Baby Alpaca + Silk
Composition: 70% Baby Alpaca + 30% Silk
Weight: light fingering/fingering
Meterage-Yardage: 400m/437 yds each 100g skein
Colorway: Malva - a soft muted cool light purple
Recommended needle size - gauge
2.25 to 3.25 mm (U.S. 1 to 3) needles - around 27–32 sts in Stockinette stitch to 10 cm - 4"
3.25 to 3.75 mm (U.S. 3 to 5) needles - around 23–26 sts in Stockinette stitch to 10 cm - 4"
This is the softest yarn, with a beautiful silky shine.
It is extremely gentle to the skin, it is light and has an amazing drape, so it is perfect for spring/summer tees or shawls.
